Lot Description
A pair of Victorian silver spoons with chalcedony handles, each with floral and foliate engraving to the short silver stem. Hallmarked Atkin Brothers, Sheffield 1893 (ferrules hallmarked 1892). Length measures 7 1/4 inches (18.5 cm).

Condition Report
The spoons display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Numerous small nicks and some deeper scratches are visible, especially to the spoon bowls. There is some damage to one of the ferrules, a dint at the top and now there is a gap between the base of the short stem and the top of the ferrule. Hallmarks are mainly clear and legible. Several small nicks and chips to the edges and corners of the handles.
