Lot Description
A large white metal novelty box modelled as a standing owl with naturalistic feather moulding, the hinged head with bright red eyes and opening as the cover, height measuring 5 inches (12.5 cm). Together with an egg cup and cover modelled as a robin, height measuring 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm). (2).

Condition Report
Both items display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The tarnishing is quite heavy in places and both would benefit from a clean and polish. Some slight loss of surface definition to some of the feather decoration on the owl. Solder is visible around the tops of the claw feet, possibly from how it was made. Hinged head is in good working order. Several surface dints and bumps to the robin head of the egg cup, and loss of detail to the feathers.
