Lot Description

A late Victorian silver christening mug, the straight sided tapered body, with a central asymmetrical embossed band of floral scroll and diaper, surrounding a central engraved cartouche, beaded rims and scroll handle. Hallmarked London 1897, maker's mark indistinct. Height measuring 3 1/8 inches (8 cm), weight 4.6 ozt (146 grams).
