Lot Description
A mid twentieth century Russian cigarette case, of oblong form with rounded corners, engraved to one side with a clocktower, surrounded by a foliate wreath and ribbon. Russian assay mark of a workman's head facing right, '875' and further Cyrillic mark. Height 4 1/4 inches (11 cm), weight 6.33 ozt (179.6 grams).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. There are some spots of discolouration and some deeper scratches to the back. There is a stone/cabochon missing from the opening clasp. The interior is also stamped '26', Russian assay marks indistinct.
