A late Victorian fabric-lined silver case retailed by Child & Child, the polished oval case with push clasp and hinged lid. Child & Child case hallmarked J.B probably Joseph Braham, London 1888. Further marks for Child and Child. Length 2 3/4 inches (7 cm). Weight 1.88 ozt (58.6 grams).

Good overall condition with scratches, dents and tarnish in keeping with age and use. Some shallow dents. Some scuffs and heavier scratches. Length does not include loop surmount. Weight includes fabric lining. The fabric lining is coming away at the edges, slight discolouration.
