Lot Description
An early 20th century 18ct gold sapphire and diamond brooch. The oval-shape sapphire cabochon and single-cut diamond openwork spray, to the similarly-cut diamond curved double lines and sapphire and diamond geometric panel. Estimated total diamond weight 1.20cts, H-I colour, VS-SI clarity. French assay marks. Length 2.8cms. Weight 11.2gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are slight scratches to the brooch in keeping with minor wear. One of the sapphires is significantly abraded and damaged in places, there are typical inclusions visible with magnification. The diamonds are bright, there are inclusions to some visible with magnification. There are French eagle head assay stamps to the pins. The back pin is secure.
