A mid 20th century platinum and 18ct gold ruby and diamond dress ring. Of lozenge-shape outline, the rectangular-shape ruby, within a brilliant-cut diamond pierced surround, to the plain band. Weight 2.3gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Estimated total diamond weight 0.08 to 0.10ct. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Light nicks and chips can be seen to some. Fine feathers and fractures can be seen under magnification. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Stamped 18ct.
