Lot Description

A good pair of Japanese bronze bronze bird-form incense burners or koro
Meiji period or earlier, each modelled as a perching crane or similar, one with head raised, each with gilt-highlighted crest and removable back, the latter relief-cast and textured with feathers, perched upon a domed foliate base, perhaps a lily pad, apparently unsigned, 8.25" and 5.75" high, (21cm and 14.5cm).
