Lot 102

Lot Description

A late Victorian pair of silver pepperettes, each of vase form with lobed decoration to the lower body and raised above a square, footed base, hallmarked Horace Woodward & Co Ltd., London 1894. Together with a 1930's silver mustard pot of oval form and decorated in a Neo-Classical style with floral garland and pierced urn motifs, missing liner, hallmarked William Comyns & Sons Ltd., London 1934.  Combined weight 5.3 ozt (165 grams).

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

All three pieces display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use.  Some heavier scratches and marks are visible.  Heavier spots and patches of tarnishing to the pepperettes and they would benefit from a clean and polish.  Hinged cover of mustard pot in working order.  The hallmarks appear a little ubbed but are all still legible.
