Condition Report
All three pieces display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavier tarnishing is visible to some areas, especially the open salt. However all three would benefit from a clean and polish. The salt displays heavier wear including slight surface dints and bumps. The rim was likely once beaded but this is now very worn and a couple of small cracks in the metal are visible. Some slight dints/bumps to the other two pieces and slight impressions from the feet are visible. The hallmarks on the salt are partly obscured, the lion passant and leopard's head crowned are just visible alongside a maker's mark, which possibly reads 'J.H'. The hallmarks on the other two pieces appear a little rubbed but still legible.
