Lot Description

A 1920's silver cream jug with Chippendale style rim, scrolling handle and standing on three turned feet, hallmarked Adie Brothers Ltd, Birmingham 1924, height measuring 3 1/2 inches (9 cm), weight 1.9 ozt (59 grams). Together with a small selection of silver plate comprising sauce boat, bud vase, swing handle sugar basket, pot with enamelled crest and fork. (6).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The silver cream jug displays a number of dents, no personal engravings and the feet and compressed into the body. Loss of enamel to the crest on pot.
