An Edwardian silver open salt, the circular form with flared lip, twin scroll pierced handles and standing on a circular footed base. Hallmarked James Wakely & Frank Clarke Wheeler, London 1901. Height measuring 1 1/2 inches (4 cm), weight 1.5 ozt (48 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavy patches of tarnishing to the interior and base. Minor dints. The hallmarks are clear and legible, maker's mark rubbed.
