An Indian or Burmese white metal bowl, designed with figures and animals to include a peacock and elephant in high relief, each within a scrolling arches upon a stippled background, between bands of foliate decoration, further peacock mark to the base. Together with a similarly designed smaller example. Diameters 5 and 2 3/4 inches (12.7 and 7 cm). Gross weight 9.23 ozt (287 grams). (2).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some large, shallow dents to the larger bowl. Insides significantly discoloured.
