Lot Description

A Tiffany & Co reproduction porringer, after an original by Paul Revere, of bulbous circular outline with engraved personal initials and pierced handle to one side, maker's mark (1947-1956) to the underside and also stamped 'Original in the Clearwater Collection, Metropolitan Museum of Art'.  Length 7 3/4 inches (19.7 cm), rim diameter 4 3/4 inches (12 cm), weight 9.01 ozt (280.3 grams).

The porringer displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.  Numerous little nicks and heavier scratches are visible throughout and especially to the interior of the bowl and the handle.  Some small shallow dints and bumps.  The marks to the underside are clear and legible.
