Lot Description

A late Victorian pair of silver mounted candlesticks, the square and fluted bases with similarly decorated detachable nozzles and plain cylindrical columns, loaded. Hallmarked I S Greenberg & Co (Israel Sigmund Greenberg), Birmingham 1900.  Height measuring 5 inches (12.5 cm).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Numerous minor dints, dents and bumps. Wear visible to the seam of the nozzles with some holes and compression, also a few minor holes from wear to the high embossing. Hallmarks clear and legible, part hallmarks visible to nozzles.
