Lot Description

A late Victorian pair of silver tapersticks, the square loaded bases with shell mounted corners rising to the baluster stem and shoulder knop with conforming shell decoration. Hallmarked  Thomas Bradbury & Sons (Turner Bradbury), London 1898. Height measuring 5 1/4 inches (13.5 cm).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Would benefit from a clean and polish.

Loading to one is loose (rattles), and dropped lower below the base of the silver to the other. Minor dints and bumps, slight splitting at the seam.
