An Edwardian pair of interesting sugar tongs of interlocking crossover design and waisted handles. Hallmarked Sampson Mordan & Co Ltd, Chester 1908, registered number 531500 . Length measuring 10.5 cm, weight 20.3 grams.

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.

There are a number of surface crack, one extending down the thin singular interlocking section of the arm and into and across the bowl. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
