Condition Report
The salts displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Heavy tarnishing is visible and both would benefit from a clean and polish. One of the salts is in poor condition displaying several solder repairs and also splits and breaks in the pierced sides. There is also some damage in the pierced decoration on the other salt but to a lesser degree. Small sections missing to both. On the poorer quality salt, the hallmarks are almost completely obscured with just remnants of the date letter remaining. The hallmarks on the better salt are also distorted but are partly legible. Several large rim and edge chips to the glass liners.
