Condition Report
The vinaigrette displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some loss of surface detail to the seed and leaf decoration, especially around the edges and the hinge, however it is generally still okay. The main hinge is now very loose and needs to be opened with care, so this may require some attention. The metal has a slight bubbly appearance on the leaves to one side of the hinge, indicating a possible repair? The gilding on the grille is now very faded. As stated in the main description, only traces of hallmarks remain.
