An Edwardian silver vesta case, of plain oblong form with enamelled decoration to the front depicting a coat of arms above the word 'Benedictus'. Hallmarked Cohen & Charles, Chester 1904. Measuring 5.2 cm by 4 cm, gross weight 28.2 grams.

The vesta case displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.  Numerous surface dints and bumps throughout, also some heavier scratches.  Considerable damage and chips to the enamel.  The hinge and clasp are in working order.  The hallmarks are clear and legible.
