The item displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. There is some quite heavy tarnishing visible to some areas and it would benefit from a clean and polish. Several surface dints and bumps including a fairly large dent to one side and some notable dints around the rim. Some heavier scratches and contact marks, especially to the underside. The hallmarks are located on the underside of the handle, they are a little rubbed and distorted but still legible, also lion passant struck to the central holder.
