Lot Description

A 20th century brass and black lacquered monocular microscope, 'Service' W. Watson & Sons Ltd, London, 71886. The main tube engraved as above, with coarse rack and pinion focusing, four eyepieces and six objectives, the stage with two directional rack and pinion movement over condenser and mirror, on Y-shaped base, 11.75" (30cm) high. In mahogany box, Watson & Glover, 2 Easy Row, Birmingham, 14.5" (37cm) high, excluding handle.
