A late 19th century gold diamond Digger's brooch. Designed as a pick and shovel, with nugget and rope accent, the shovel with uncut diamond detail and stamped "Johannesburg gold". Length 5.5cms. Weight 7.8gms.

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Wear to the gilt finish. General varying discolouration. Diamond appears dull. Estimated diamond spread weight 0.10ct, which is no indication of the diamond weight.
