Lot Description

An early 20th century 18ct gold split pearl and diamond cluster ring. The split pearl, within a single-cut diamond surround, to the single-cut diamond shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Weight 2.8gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. The split pearl is untested for natural origin. The split pearl has a silver grey hue with faint over tones. Blisters and blemishes to surface. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Light nicks and chips can be seen to some. Fine feathers and fractures can be seen under magnification. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Ring size K 1/2.
