An early 20th century 9ct gold sapphire and split pearl necklace. The circular-shape sapphire and split pearl floral cluster, within a split pearl foliate and scroll panel, to the similarly-designed foliate drop and surmount, suspended from a trace-link chain. Length 41cms. Weight 4.2gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with age. Some small areas of minor discolouration. Sapphires fairly well matched, vary very slightly in hue. Purplish-blue with moderate colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Sapphires in good condition with minor abrasion. Split pearls fairly well matched, vary very slightly in hue. Generally creamy colour, some with grey hues. Fairly good skins with some surface blemishes. Fairly good lustre.
