Condition Report
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear and discolouration in keeping with age. Replacement cultured pearl, with glue visible. Brooch fitting detaches, un-screws. The brooch would have originally been part of a necklace/larger piece. Diamonds bright and well matched. Due to the nature of the rose-cut it is not possible to calculate a total rose-cut diamond weight. Estimated total rose-cut diamond spread weight 0.45ct, which is no indication of the actual rose-cut diamond weight. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Scattered inclusions visible under magnification. Diamonds in fair to good condition with some nicks and nibbles.
