An early twentieth century silver sauce boat, of typical plain form with shaped rim, scroll handle and standing on three shell capped and stepped hoof feet. Hallmarked Elkington & Co Ltd., Birmingham 1912, with impressed maker's mark and number '24028'. Maximum length measures 6 5/8 inches (16.8 cm), weight 5.1 ozt (158.8 grams).

Condition Report
The sauce boat appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some heavier scratches and nicks, also a few spots of tarnishing visible to the interior. The hallmarks appear rubbed but legible.
