A George III silver wine funnel, of typical form with reeded detail and simple drilled piercing to the strainer, with removable funnel. Hallmarked London 1801, maker's mark partly distorted but the letter 'M' is visible, part hallmarks to funnel. Maximum length measures 5 1/8 inches (13 cm), gross weight 2.77 ozt (86.4 grams).
