Lot Description

A Victorian silver cruet, the tri-form base with wire frame supporting a pepper, mustard and open salt, each of part fluted form and standing on ball feet. Hallmarked Horace Woodward & Co (Edgar Finley & Hugh Taylor), London 1885. Gross weighable silver 7.1 ozt (222 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some rubbing with a little loss of definition. Hallmarks rubbed in parts. The salt spoon is silver and appears to have the same hallmarks (although worn, particularly the maker's mark). Mustard spoon is associated and plated. Glass liner probably a replacement.
