Lot Description

A pair of early twentieth century silver scent bottles or flasks, each with mythical mask and beast mounts with linking chains to the detachable lids mounted with cork. Hallmarked Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd, London 1913. Height measuring 5 inches (12.5 cm), gross weight 7.2 ozt (227 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.

The jump rings to one example all look to have been replaced. The lids are quite loose in position. One of the corks is missing the lower silver plate mount. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
