Lot Description

Two Oriental ivory puzzle balls, each with approx. eleven concentric layers, the first with outer layer carved with dragons amidst flowers and vines, the second with foliage, each having upper inner layers pierced with stars, each on knopped stems with carved scenes of figures amidst foliage and buildings, on circular bases, 6.5" (16.5cm) high, together with a small ivory vase, of tapering form, carved with dragons and flowers, 4" (10cm) high, plus an ivory 'handle', of circular form with screw thread lid, carved with flowers and dragons, 6" (15cm) long, (S/D).
