Lot Description
A late Victorian silver waiter, of circular lobed form, the dish having centrally engraved motto, within wreath and further embossed scroll and foliate border, shell and scroll moulding to raised rim, the whole raised on three similarly moulded feet. Hallmarked Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd., London 1900, and stamped 'Gibson, Belfast'. Weight 16.29 ozt (506.6 grams), diameter 8 3/4 inches (22 cm).

Condition Report
Overall good condition. Hallmarks with some rubbing, particularly to maker's mark, but legible. Engraved motto to centre with rubbing and so not clear and legible. Remnants of polish to embossed areas. Displays signs of tarnishing, particularly beneath.
