A George III silver soup ladle with shell and beaded bowl, hallmarked Thomas Wallis I, London 1776, alongside a Dutch tax import mark. Together with a George III small silver toddy ladle with baleen handle, hallmarked London 1813. Gross weight 5.4 ozt (169 grams). (2).

The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Very worn personal initial engravings to both sides of the soup ladle handle. Numerous dents to the toddy ladle bowl and with stamped initials CT. Baleen with holes and fractures. Hallmarks partly worn but clearly legible.
