An early twentieth century silver mounted pin cushion modelled in the form of a shoe with a wooden base.
Hallmarked S Blanckensee & Sons Ltd., Birmingham, date letter likely 1913, also with registration number 548913. Length measures 5 inches (12.7 cm).

Condition Report

The item displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some small dints and bumps and little nicks in the metal, also seam lines are visible. Slight loss of raised surface detail to some areas. Replacement material to the cushion. Maker's mark partly worn but the hallmarks are clear and legible.
