A nineteenth century continental white metal nutmeg grater, of ovoid form, the lid and base with raised scrolling floral and shell motif, unscrewing to reveal a base metal grater. Maker's mark S.M. to inside of one half. Length 3.5 cm. Weight 14.2 grams.
