A Victorian silver bowl, the circular body with matt finish, palmette style border, silver-gilt interior and standing on a circular foot. Hallmarked William Jackson & Walter Chase, London 1879. Height measuring 2 1/2 inches (6.5 cm), weight 4.2 ozt (131 grams).
