Lot Description

A late 19th century gold turquoise and diamond pendant. The oval turquoise cabochon and rose-cut diamond geometric surround, to the domed oval-shape panel and spiral surround, with later surmount loop. Length 3cms. Weight 4.6gms.

The lot is in fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Slight wear to gilt finish. Pendant converted from a brooch. The back plate and surmount loop are later additions/replacements, with soft solder visible. File scratches to the back of the brooch to both sections. The diamonds appear bright and well matched, estimated total diamond weight 0.02ct. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades.
