A 1930's silver christening mug of baluster form, raised on a circular foot, with acanthus leaf scrolling handle and personal inscription. Hallmarked William Neale & Son Ltd, Birmingham 1931. Height (including handle) 3 1/4 inches (8.3 cm), weight 2.67 ozt (82.9 grams).

Good overall condition. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. Maker's mark slightly rubbed. Personal inscription reads 'Jean, Aug. 29th 1932'. Mug wobbles slightly on its foot. Few small dents to the main body.
