A modern silver salver of circular outline with a Chippendale style rim to a plain centre and raised on four scroll feet. Hallmarked Birmingham 1977 with maker's mark 'M.D.Y'. Diameter measures 14 inches (35.5 cm), weight 37.15 ozt (1155.5 grams).

The salver appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general wear including surface scratching, marks and light tarnishing. No personal engravings. Numerous heavier scratches, pitting and other contact marks visible to the plain centre. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
