Lot Description
A 1920's Scottish silver lidded cream jug, of squat baluster form with mask detail to the spout and a coin inset to the hinged lid, the lid also with scrolled thumb rest and ivory insulators to the handle.
Hallmarked James Weir, Glasgow 1923. Height measures 4 1/8 inches (10.5 cm), weight 8.86 ozt (275.7 grams).

Condition Report
The jug displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Would benefit from a polish. Some small dints and bumps and slight impression from the base of the handle. Hinged lid appears in good working order and is struck with corresponding part hallmarks. The hallmarks are all clear and legible.
