A Victorian and later silver composite part canteen, in double struck King's pattern with shell heel, comprising twelve each of table forks, dessert forks and table spoons, eleven teaspoons, a pair of soup ladles, a pair of basting spoons, a sauce ladle and a pair of grape scissors, all hallmarked Lambert & Co (George Lambert), London 1894; matched with a George IV cheese scoop, hallmarked London 1824, three condiment spoons, hallmarked London 1875, a five piece carving set (one piece plated), hallmarked Sheffield 1894, twelve silver handled table knives and eleven cheese knives, hallmarked London 1965 and six silver handled pastry knives and forks, hallmarked Sheffield 1966. The lot also includes two William IV and four Victorian Queen's pattern teaspoons, a pair of Irish silver Fiddle pattern sugar nips, hallmarked Dublin 1826, and plated spoons, sugar nips and a butter knife. Gross approximate silver weight 221 ozt (6875 grams) including knives at estimated silver weight.

Condition Report
In mixed state, all pieces in the lot displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use, and to varying degrees. Most pieces in used condition. Various dints and bumps. The hallmarks are mainly legible.
