A pair of George III silver shoe buckles, the oblong form with interlocking openwork rim and steel fixtures. Hallmarked with the maker's mark IL, presumed to be John Lambe, further lion passant and duty mark only. Length measuring 3 inches (7.8 cm).

Condition Report
The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Numerous minor dints and bumps. Areas of much heavier tarnishing. Deterioration to the surface of the steel. Only part hallmarks present, as per description, these are clear and legible.
