A pair of George III silver shoe buckles, the oval openwork form quartered with facetted beading and raised on a steel fixtures. Hallmarked with the maker's mark for George Smith (II) & Thomas Hayter, presumed London 1795. Length measuring 2 1/2 inches (6.5 cm).
