A Victorian silver vesta case, the small oblong form with scroll engraving and personalised cartouche, hallmarked George Unite, Birmingham 1898, height measuring 4.3 cm. Together with an Edwardian silver vesta case, hallmarked Birmingham 1906, height measuring 5 cm. Gross weight 1.8 ozt (56 grams). (2).

Condition Report
The Victorian example appears in good overall condition displaying general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The Edwardian example is in poorer condition with heavier tarnishing a number of dents, lid does not fully close and also with a monogram engraving. Hallmarks a little distorted.
