An early Victorian silver 'castle top' vinaigrette by Nathaniel Mills, the oblong form with vacant shield cartouche to the base, scroll borders, the hinged lid with applied scene of Abbotsford and opening to a silver-gilt interior with floral scroll pierced grille. Hallmarked Nathaniel Mills, Birmingham 1841. Length measuring 3.7 cm, weight 24 grams.
