An early Victorian silver-gilt 'castle top' vinaigrette by Nathaniel Mills, the oblong form with vacant cartouche to the base, engine-turned surround, foliate borders, the hinged lid with applied scene of Windsor Castle and opening to a silver-gilt scroll pierced grille. Hallmarked Nathaniel Mills, Birmingham 1838. William IV duty mark. Length measuring 4 cm, weight 27 grams.
