Lot Description

An early Victorian silver snuff box by Nathaniel Mills, the oblong form with chequered engine-turned decoration, concave reeded edge, the hinged cover with personal inscription and opening to a silver-gilt interior. Hallmarked Nathaniel Mills, Birmingham 1844. Length measuring 3 3/8 inches (8.5 cm), weight 3.8 ozt (120 grams).
