Lot Description
An Eastern European cigarette case of rounded rectangular form with line decoration throughout, probably hallmarks for Estonia comprising the National mark of a lion passant guardant (1924 - c.1939), the silver standard 875 in an oval punch and a maker's mark 'PE'. Together with an Edwardian silver seal, hallmarked Birmingham 1908. Cigarette case measures 4 1/4 inches (10.7 cm ) by 3 3/8 inches (8.5 cm), height of seal measures 1 3/8 inches (3.5 cm). Gross weight 6.17 ozt (191.7 grams). (2).

Condition Report
Both pieces display general surface scratches, marks, and wear commensurate with the age and use. Heavy tarnishing is visible to both and they would benefit from a clean and polish. Minor dints and nicks and heavier wear around edges. A couple of small holes starting to appear to edge corners of cigarette case. Hinged lid appears in good working order.
