Lot Description

An Edwardian silver vesta case of oblong form with scalloped edge, hallmarked Chester 1902, width measuring 5 cm. Together with a further Edwardian silver vesta case, a 1920's silver cigarette case, an early twentieth century silver cheroot case a holder and three silver and mother-of-pearl fruit knives. (8).

Varied state, all with general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The cigarette case is quite dented, the front case has had a previous engraving removed and later re-engraved, this area feels thin. The second vesta case also has an initial engraving.
