A Japanese baluster vase with short flared neck, decorated with scenes of females within garden setting shading beneath parasol, with further panels of stylized ships, upon a lozenge ground, unmarked beneath, 12" (30.5cm) high. Together with a satsuma pottery vase, the baluster form body decorated in a blue glazed ground with panels depicting females within garden setting, the whole with applied gilded decoration, 12” (30.5cm) high. (2).
